A Members’ Conference and Eid reunion of the non-political movement Hezbut Tawheed was held in Chuadanga on 18 April 2026 at the Mukta Mancha ground, bringing together thousands of participants.

Addressing the gathering, the honorable Imam Hossain Mohammad Salim highlighted the root causes of the ongoing crises in the Muslim world. He identified disunity as a primary factor, stating that imperial powers continue to exploit this division, leading to the fall of Muslim nations despite the clear command of unity in the Holy Qur’an.

Focusing on the national context, he observed that repeated political changes have failed to bring real improvement to the lives of the people. Instead, insecurity, economic hardship, and social instability persist. He attributed this to the continuation of a man-made, colonial system of governance.

The Imam presented a clear proposal: that the foundation of state governance must be the sovereignty of Allah. He emphasized that the people of this land are deeply rooted in faith, believing in Allah, His Messenger (peace be upon him), and the Qur’an. Therefore, solutions to national crises must be sought within divine guidance rather than external frameworks.

He further stated that without establishing a Tawheed-based system, societal problems such as corruption, injustice, interest-based exploitation, and inequality cannot be eliminated. Partial adherence to divine commandments, he warned, only deepens the crisis.

Addressing economic realities, he pointed to the growing burden of debt and systemic imbalance, asserting that only an interest-free economic model based on divine principles can ensure justice and long-term stability.

Clarifying the concept of jihad, the Imam stated that it is not terrorism or the spread of fear, but a righteous struggle to establish justice and eliminate wrongdoing. He called upon believers to work with dedication and sacrifice to reform society and uphold the true teachings of Islam.

The conference was presided over by Chuadanga District President Jewel Rana. Among others present were General Secretary Md. Nizam Uddin, Joint General Secretary Rufaidah Panni, Khulna Divisional President Tanvir Ahmed, Regional President Jaseb Uddin, and Shamsuzzaman Milon.

The gathering reflected strong public engagement, with thousands in attendance, reaffirming their commitment to the message and mission of Hezbut Tawheed.
